This position verifies product conformity with PCI and DOT specifications.

Essential Duties:

- Inspection and verification of the accuracy of dimensions of units, quantity and location of reinforcement and cast-in items, forms and mold layout, and other matters pertaining specifically to production. Checking adequacy of the form to product units without undesirable distortion or surface defects.

- Inspection and observation of all stressing operations to insure that specified procedures are followed.

- Fabrication of representative test samples and concrete testing.

- Inspection of all finished products for conformance with shop drawings and specifications.

- Preparation and maintenance of complete quality control records for all products. These records shall include all information pertaining to the production of each unit and will provide a means by which a unit may be identified.

Requirements:

A combination of education and/or work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are demonstrated.

- Associates degree in civil technology or construction management preferred or equivelent work experience.

- Inspection or construction experience strongly preferred.

- Good planning, organization, and basic math (geometry, algebra, trigonometry) skills.

- Broad base of knowledge in concrete construction and testing.

- Have or become ACI Concrete Field Testing Grade I certified.

- Have or become PCI Level I and/or Level II certified.

- Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation.

- Strong computer skills including MS Windows, MSO Word, MSO Excel, databases, & and data acquisition software.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday with overtime available
